The story
An hour in the frosty woods with two small children and very few rules.
Family sessions with small children work best when nobody is told to smile, so we went for a walk. Theo found every puddle, Isla rode on her dad's shoulders, and Grandad came along to hold the coats and ended up in half the photos. The frost stayed on the picnic benches all morning, which made the light soft and bright under the trees.
