The story
A ceremony on the lawn under cream parasols, and dinner as the garden cooled down.
Anna and Luca married in the walled garden at Ashcombe House on the hottest day of June. The parasols were Luca's idea and everyone was grateful for them. I kept to the edges during the ceremony, then took them through the hydrangea walk for twenty minutes of portraits while guests had drinks on the terrace. The best photos of the day are from the speeches, when Anna's nonna stood up unplanned and had the whole garden in tears.
